Overview
Needless to say, we have all looked at these weird symbols on our clothing tags but never quite figured out what they meant. The laundry lens helps the user with proper instruction on how to take care of their clothes and garments. By swiping up on the app, a user can manually look up all the different laundry symbols and discover their meanings. Laundry Lens includes a complete list of characters, from washing to ironing, and even professional ones, so you know exactly what type of care your laundry requires.

Problem and Objective
Too Many People wash their clothes the wrong way and damage them
While the Laundry Lens app has great success on the app store with 4.8 stars and great reviews, many users voiced their concerns about wanting new features to improve the user experience. For example, the app displaying that the scan has been complete, showing what has been scanned, ways to upload images from the gallery, and many more.
MoSCoW Chart showing what's important and what's not
I wanted to keep myself organized to start my laundry lens redesign process. The MoSCoW methods help understand what’s important and what’s not. Showing Must have, should have, could have, and won’t have. Using the MoSCoW method, I could keep myself organized on what to prioritize for the user’s needs.
With these users’ needs listed, I made it my Objective to implement these user needs into the app while keeping what originally made the successful app, the quick and easy process of figuring out what the laundry symbols mean.
Approach
Each change of the app was executed with careful consideration of the original and new potential users.

Wireframes/lo-fis
After the first and second sketches and getting user opinions of the design. I design the wireframes of the new design to get to the next part of designing the final part of the app. I made it a goal to ask opinions from people who have used the app, I wanted to make sure that the designed changes were not only liked by me but by the users too.
